Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1922, in good condition with 75% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Stock has a tiger stripe visible on the left side as well as on the forearm on the right side. Furniture exhibits mild to fair handling wear throughout, with mild pressure marks found throughout the stock and handguard, as well as some small gouges. On the right side of the stock the Swiss military stamp is deep and sharp. There are several light pressure marks at the grip and a dark spot at the top of the grip. Several mild pressure marks are found to the left of the finger groove and there is a small gouge at the woodline above the left side of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there is a mild pressure mark at the butt, near the heel. Multiple light pressure marks found along the grip. There is a small rough area below the bottom edge of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are multiple small marks along the toe. There are a few light gouges on the forearm. There is a gouge on the bottom right of the tang. The handguard has a light gouge on the right side before the rear sight. Small gouge on the top of the handguard in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has heavy finish wear at the rear on the top and left sides. Mild edge wear around the loading slot, light edge wear around the lightening cuts. Various light scratches in the finish. Rear barrel band has moderate finish wear on the top and right side and finish wear on the underside at the mounting screw. Front barrel band has fair finish wear on the top side, finish wear on the left and right sides, and mild finish wear on the bayonet lug. Mild edge wear around the front sight. Magazine plate has light to mild finish wear and edge wear around the mounting screws. Trigger guard has light edge wear and some marks in the metal. Magazine base has mild finish wear.
Both bolt knobs are cracked and with matching serial numbers.
Receiver is P stamped.

The Karabiner Model 1911 (K11) is the shorter, lighter, carbine model of the Swiss 1911 rifle. It is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11). Though the 1911 rifle ceased production in 1919, the K11 was produced through 1933 as the Swiss military realized the benefit of outfitting their service members with shorter, lighter, carbines.
