Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1916, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Bolt knobs matching serial numbers.
Furniture has been lightly sanded and refinished. Stock has long grain patterns around the butt. Light tiger striping on the top of the handguard. On the right side of the stock there are light scuffs and light to mild pressure marks around the butt. Light scratching at the woodline to the left of the handguard. On the left side of the stock there is a small pressure mark at the top of the grip, below the woodline. On the underside of the stock there are several small gouges at the toe and a light gouge in front of the magazine plate. At the heel of the stock there is a gouge in front of the butt pad and a mild pressure mark near that.
Receiver has mostly light finish wear, with mild to fair finish wear at the rear of the receiver on the left side. Light edge wear around the loading slot and the three lightening cuts. Rear barrel band has fair finish wear. Mild to fair finish wear on the front barrel band. Fair to moderate finish wear on the front sight base. Mild to fair finish wear on the magazine plate. Moderate to heavy edge wear and mild to fair finish wear on the trigger guard. Mild to fair finish wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped. 37 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1937.
Top bolt knob is cracked and chipped. Lower bolt knob is cracked.
