Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1928, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Bolt knobs matching serial number.
Light to mild pressure marks throughout the furniture. Finish is worn around the butt. On the right side of the stock, there are some scattered light gouges along the bottom of the stock from the butt to the grip. Above the finger groove there is a light scratch and there is a pressure mark on the upper edge of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is heavy handling wear around the butt and a gouge above the toe. There is a mild gouge in front of the rear sling mount. Light gouge on the pistol grip. Just below the woodline, there are a few light gouges below the receiver's left side lightening cut. On the forearm there are a pair of scrapes in front of the rear barrel band on both the stock and handguard. On the underside of the stock there are some gouges and long scratches at the butt from the end of the stock to the pistol grip. Pistol grip has a few heavy pressure marks and mild gouges. There are pressure marks along the comb of the stock and a pressure mark at the end of the comb near the receiver tang. On the handguard there is a scratch on the top side in front of the rear sight, a gouge on the right side below the rear sight, and a light scratch on the left side at the base of the handguard. On the top side of the handguard before the rear barrel band is a light gouge, and there are a couple of light gouges on the top side in between the two barrel bands.
Overall bluing has likely been previously refurbished as the rear tangent is completely blued. Receiver has some small spots of light finish wear throughout as well as various light scratches and surface marks in the metal. Moderate to heavy edge wear around the forward edge of the loading slot, at the chamber. Rear barrel band has some light scratches in the finish. Light finish wear on the front barrel band. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate with an area of moderate finish wear around the center screw. Light edge wear on the trigger guard. Light finish wear on the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
Both bolt knobs are cracked and are heavily worn.
