Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1921, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 2/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture has areas of very heavy handling wear and has light to mild pressure marks throughout.
On the right side of the stock, there is some rash on the pistol grip and severe gouging on the grip. There are scratches on the lower edge of the stock near the magazine and a couple of pressure marks around the edge of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there is a gouge above the pistol grip. Fair finish wear and handling wear on the side of the stock to the right of the finger groove. Handguard has a pair of armory repairs; one in front and one behind the tangent sight. There is a large scuff on the top side of the handguard before the front barrel band.
The stock is stamped on the comb, near the heel, with "FRIBOURG" for Canton Fribourg.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. There are small spots where the previous owner attempted to apply a liquid cold bluing agent, as noted by some discoloration in the bluing at the chamber on the BernerProbe stamp, inspector's stamp, and on the forward edge of the loading slot. Light discoloration in the finish along the rear of the receiver. Scattered small, light spots around the middle of the receiver from previous rust. Small area of mild finish wear on the left side of the receiver. Light finish wear on the rear barrel band. Mild finish wear on the front barrel band. Mild to fair finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild finish wear on the trigger guard. Mild finish wear on the magazine.
Bolt knobs are replacements.
Receiver is P stamped.
Soldier's tag found under the butt plate.
Includes leather sling.
