Private production Swiss 1911 Infatnry Rifle in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard both non-matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine non-matching serial number, and is from a K11 Carbine produced in 1930.
Furniture has various pressure marks throughout, particularly on the left side which has a large amount of pressure marks. On the right side of the stock, there are a few small gouges on the grip. In between the end of the finger groove and the rear barrel band there is a small scrape. On the left side of the stock, there are several gouges to the right of the finger groove, including a wide scrape and gouge. There are multiple heavy pressure marks and gouges along the forearm. On the underside of the stock there are a few gouges from the end of the magazine plate to the barrel band. There are multiple marks found along the comb of the stock. On the left side of the handguard, in between the ferrule and the rear barrel band there is a light gouge near the woodline.
The right side of the stock has a badge with the name "A. BACHLER" of Zurich, which would have been the original owner.
Receiver has mild finish wear and mild patina. Edge wear around the loading slot and the three lightening cuts. Patina on the tangent sight. Rear barrel band has heavy finish wear and is approaching white. Front barrel band has light finish wear and mild patina. Magazine plate has mild finish wear and mild patina. Trigger guard has fair edge wear, fair finish wear, and mild patina. Magazine has fair finish wear.
The chamber of the receiver is stamped above the serial number with the gunsmith's information "C. DAUBENMEIER" of Dietikon (canton Zurich).
Upper bolt knob is cracked.
Includes muzzle cover and woven leather sling. A couple of the woven leather straps have broken and has been secured with cordage.
