Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1919, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture has been previously sanded. There are two Swiss military acceptance stamps on the right side of the stock at the butt, one of which is very well defined. Long wood grain pattern around the butt.
On the right side of the stock, there are light to mild pressure marks throughout the butt, as well as some dots from some sort of stain along the bottom edge. Thin, light gouge at the woodline above and to the left of the finger groove. There are a few light gouges on the forearm in between the two barrel bands. On the left side of the stock, there are light to mild pressure marks around the butt and a faint triangular-shaped gouge. Heavy pressure mark on the grip. Small, mild gouge and a few light pressure marks to the right of the finger groove. Mild pressure mark on the bottom edge of the finger groove. Light and mild pressure marks along the forearm. In between the two barrel bands, there are a series of vertical marks running between the stock and handguard. On the underside of the stock, there are light pressure marks on the rear of the pistol grip and a dark stain on the underside of the grip. Light gouges in front of the magazine plate. Light scrape near the front barrel band. Light pressure marks along the comb. Light pressure marks throughout the handguard, with a few moderate pressure marks near the front barrel band.
All bluing has been refurbished. Receiver has light edge wear around the loading slot. Very light edge wear around the lightening cuts. Mild surface mark on the rear left side of the receiver. Areas of light finish wear on the left side of the receiver and over the chamber. Light patina over the chamber. Light edge wear around the rear barrel band. Light tool marks visible in the rear barrel band underneath the refinished blue. Light edge wear on the trigger guard. Surface marks on the trigger guard and magazine.
Receiver is P stamped. 30 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1930.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
