Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1918, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Bolt knob matching serial number.
On the right side of the stock, there is a large group of light gouges around the center of the butt. Heavy pressure marks near the grip. Light gouges before the rear barrel band. Light gouge on the forearm between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge on the grip. Light gouges above the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark at the toe. Small, mild pressure marks along the comb. Handguard has a small, mild pressure mark before the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light finish wear, mild patina, and mild edge wear. Heavy finish wear on the front barrel band. Heavy finish wear on the barrel. Mild edge wear on the trigger guard. Heavy finish wear on the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped. WF28 stamp indicates armory refurbishment in 1928.
