Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1918, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture exhibits wear with many pressure marks found throughout. The stock's finish is worn around the butt. On the right side of the stock there is handling wear in the finger groove and pressure marks and light gouging around the edge of the finger groove. Before the rear barrel band there are some heavy pressure marks and a long scratch, and there is some gouging in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there is an armory repair at the grip, to the left of the receiver tang. Forward of the grip there is a small gouge, some heavy handling wear and some moderate to heavy pressure marks. There are pressure marks and light gouges around the finger groove. Several heavy pressure marks and gouges just before the front barrel band. Handguard has a very deep tiger stripe pattern.
Spots from very light pitting found throughout the receiver and the base of the barrel. Receiver has several marks in the surface of the receiver as well as some discoloration in the bluing. Light finish wear on the rear barrel band. Mild finish wear on the front barrel band. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard. Fair finish wear on the base of the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
Bolt knobs are neither cracked nor chipped, but they do exhibit handling wear.
