This Swiss Luger 1906/29, produced in 1940, is in very good condition with 90% original finish. 5/5 Bore. All visible serial numbers matching. Left side of the frame has light edge wear on the forward edge and minor edge wear above the grip. Right side of the frame has edge wear at the forward edge, with a light amount of wear continuing along the top edge to about the midpoint. Light edge wear at the trigger guard and on the base of the front strap. Trigger plate has edge wear at the high area and the safety selector has edge wear around the lever and at the knob. Toggle grips have finish wear from handling, and there is a small amount of edge wear on the toggle hinge from use. Minor finish wear at the muzzle. Brown Bakelite grips with good checkering. Magazine has matching brown Bakelite base. A variation of Colonel Muhlemann's inspection stamp (Cross over a script M) is stamped to the left of the serial number on the frame. Frame is P stamped. There is also an unknown stamp on the frame that reads "0.1229". Includes leather holster with shoulder strap. C&R Eligible. Very discreet import engraving.
This model has the standard 1906/29 features such as a new type toggle with flat, uncheckered toggle knobs; grip safety, wide trigger, narrow trigger guard and a straight grip front strap, no stock lug and barrel chambered in 7.65mm Luger.
