This Swiss Luger 1906/24 was manufactured in 1929. It is in excellent condition with 96% original finish. 5/5 Bore. All components matching serial numbers. Frame is P stamped. Bluing has a slight purple tint. Light holster wear at the muzzle. BernerProbe (BP) stamp on receiver next to a Swiss proof from Colonel Muhlemann above the frame's P stamp. Wood grips are in good condition. Includes one spare magazine. Includes leather holster which does not carry a spare magazine. Very discreet import engraving.
The model 06/24 was part of the first Swiss Lugers that were completely manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern for the Swiss Army in 1928. The top of the chamber area is blank and the front toggle link is marked with the small Swiss cross over "WAFFENFABRIK BERN".
This model has the standard 1906/24 features such as a new type toggle with flat, checkered toggle knobs; polished lower safety area, no stock lug and barrel chambered in 7.65mm Luger. Original Swiss checkered walnut grips with smooth border around the edges and left grip slotted for grip safety. Original nickel plated magazine with wooden base.
