This Swiss Luger 1906/24, produced in 1925, is in excellent condition with 97% original finish. 5/5 Bore. All components matching serial numbers. Bluing is very dark and consistent with little wear. Very light mark on the frame from safety lever usage. Small amount of edge wear on the trigger plate. Straw finish is also very dark. Frame is P 63 stamped at the front of the trigger guard. Swiss proof from Colonel Muhlemann is found on the receiver, to the left of the trigger plate and above the takedown lever. Original wood grips are very clean, with a small amount of residue found on the left side wood grip near the magazine release button. Included magazine has wood base. C&R eligible. Very discreet import engraving.
The model 06/24 was part of the first Swiss Lugers that were completely manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern for the Swiss Army in 1928. The top of the chamber area is blank and the front toggle link is marked with the small Swiss cross over "WAFFENFABRIK BERN".
This model has the standard 1906/24 features such as a new type toggle with flat, checkered toggle knobs; polished lower safety area, no stock lug and barrel chambered in 7.65mm Luger. Original Swiss checkered walnut grips with smooth border around the edges and left grip slotted for grip safety. Original nickel plated magazine with wooden base.
