Product Description
Swiss 1881 sawback bayonet, made by SIG Neuhausen. Includes leather scabbard.
Blade has light pitting throughout. Light to mild patina on the catch.
Scabbard has mild to heavy cracking throughout. There appears to be a small hole on the front and back of the scabbard near the mouthpiece.
Issued with Vetterli model 1881. There are only minor differences between the 1881 sawback and the 1878 sawback; the crossbar measures 7mm thick instead of 6mm.
