Product Description
Swiss 1914 sawback bayonet, produced by Elsener Schwyz, with leather scabbard and leather frog.
Blade is in excellent condition. Left grip h as a light gouge. Pommel has light pitting.
Leather scabbard has light gouging. End cap has light pitting. Leather frog was made by J. Tosalli of Colombier (Neuchatel) in 1954.
The 1914 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. The serial number indicates that it was issued with a K31 Carbine produced in 1945.
