Swiss manufactured SIG P226, manufactured in 1985 to celebrate 125 years of SIG Waffenfabrik. This pistol is in new-in-box condition. 5/5 Bore. Gold text on the left side of the slide reads "125 Jahre [SIG oval logo] Waffen 1860-1985". Right side of the slide has the modern SIG SAUER logo in gold, along with the model "JP 226". Below is the serial number, also in gold. Hammer, slide catch, decocking lever, magazine release, and trigger are gold plated. Beautiful carving on walnut grips.
Pistol is packaged inside a locking presentation case; the display top opens up to reveal the pistol under glass, and a separate key allows you to access the pistol underneath the glass. Key is included. Presentation case has some finish wear along the bottom of the case and a few pressure marks. A small scratch is found above the lock from repeated entry into the glass display. There is also some discoloring in the corners of the suede lining inside the case.
