Model 1918 bayonet, manufactured by Elsener Schwyz. Includes scabbard and leather frog.
Bayonet was reissued. Original serial number on the frog was ground down and serial number 47431 was stamped.
Blade is in excellent condition.
Scabbard has mildly worn finish. Leather frog was made by Luthy of Endingen (Aargau) in 1904.
These bayonets were issued with the K11 and K31 Carbines. The serial number indicates that this bayonet would have been issued with a K11 carbine produced in 1916.
