Product Description
Swiss model 1914 sawback bayonet, produced by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with scabbard and leather frog.
Blade has mild pitting and heavy patina. Both grips have light gouging. Pommel has light surface marks.
Scabbard has lightly worn finish. Frog was made by P. Morel of Semsales (Fribourg) in 1951.
The 1914 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. The serial number indicates that it was issued with a K11 Carbine produced in 1920.
