Product Description
Swiss model 1914 sawback bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Includes steel scabbard and leather frog.
Blade is in excellent condition. Walnut grips have light gouging. Light scratches and light surface marks on the pommel.
Scabbard has heavily worn finish and heavy patina. Leather frog was made by R. Jager of Grenchen (Solothurn) in 1936.
The 1914 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. The seral number indicates that it was issued with a K11 Carbine produced in 1920.
