Product Description
1914 Sawback Bayonet manufactured by Hermann Steimer in Wassen im Emmental. Includes brown leather scabbard and leather frog.
The blade was manufactured in 1930 as indicated by the stamp on the ricasso. A wooden plug has been inserted into the mortise slot. The scabbard has the initials "KE" scratched into it.
The 1914 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. It was issued along with either the K11 Carbine or K31 Carbine.
The crossguard lacks a serial number.
