Swiss Model 1899 Bayonet, also known as a model 1911, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Issued with Swiss Schmidt-Rubin 1896/11 and 1911 rifles and K11 carbine. Includes steel scabbard with leather frog.
The difference between the 1899 bayonet and the previous 1889 bayonet is the appearance of an arresting bar in the fuller to aid with retention in the scabbard.
