Product Description
Hammerli International target pistol, produced in 1979, in very good condition with 95% original finish. 4/5 Bore. Bright bore with lightly worn rifling. Left side of the slide is stamped with "Hammerli International" to the right of the slide serrations and "LENZBURG SWITZERLAND" above the slide stop, however this appears to have been manufactured not in Switzerland, but in Germany. The underside of the frame at the dust cover is stamped with "TIENGEN" which is where Hammerli's German facility was located. On the left side of the frame below the slide serrations is a German nitro proof, "HK" date code translating to "79", and an antler for the proof house at Ulm (West Germany). There is also a German nitro proof found on the left side of the barrel above the slide serrations, and one on the slide to the left of the Hammerli word mark.
Frame has light edge wear on the trigger guard and light finish wear on the front strap. The left side of the slide has a few very light edge wear marks. The barrel has edge wear at the breech and light edge wear on the front sight.
Wood target grip is in excellent condition with light handling wear. On the right side of the grip is a small Swiss cross stamped in the wood. The left side of the grip has several Swiss competition participation stickers from 1988 to 2000. Adjustable palm rest.
