Fabrique Nationale Model 1946, also known as the Browning Hi Power, is in very good condition with 90% original blue. 4/5 Bore. Slide is stamped with "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE" "HERSTAL BELGIQUE" "BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE". Frame is marked with model name "M.1946", the serial number, and a crown over "HV" indicating that this is a Danish Military pistol - HV, or "Haerens Vabenarsenal" translates to Army Weapons Arsenal / Royal Danish Arsenal.
Bore is shiny but rifling appears slightly worn. Grips have light handling wear with a few pressure marks. Light edge wear present on the slide. Slide and frame has marks likely stemming from repetitive disassembly and reassembly. There are also various small scratches and handling marks throughout the slide and frame. Pistol has been modified to remove the magazine disconnect so the user can drop the hammer without the magazine inserted. Includes brown military leather holster and two 13rd magazines. C&R Eligible. Very discreet import engraving.
