The 1906 Swiss Police Luger was manufactured by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) of Berlin and was part of the 1910 production. 5,215 manufactured starting with serial 10,000 to 15,215.
The top of the chamber is marked with the Swiss Cross in a Shield and the rear toggle bears the DWM Monogram. Barrel and receiver are stamped with a Swiss small cross. Receiver bears the control proof mark consisting of a small Swiss cross over a “V”, control proof of Herr Vogelsang. “P” marking with year on frame indicating the privatization of this model.
This model has the 1906 Swiss police features such as new type toggle, with flat, checkered toggle knobs; grip safety, wide trigger, narrow trigger guard and barrel chambered in 7.65mm Luger.
