Gewehr 88 rifle manufactured by the Danzig Arsenal is in good condition with 70% original finish. 4/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Furniture non-matching serial numbers. Bolt non-matching serial number. Stock has various dents and some gouges, mostly at the top where the stock meets the barrel. Barrel has retained much of the original bluing. Bluing on the receiver is thinning with patina. Finish is also wearing on the magazine body and trigger guard. Underneath the serial number on the receiver is a small "Orion" German import engraving on receiver along with caliber (full engraving reads "Orion 8x57 IS"). Original cleaning rod is included.
Antique; no import engraving applied by Edelweiss Arms. Five round charger clip (en-bloc clip) is not included with the rifle.
