Custom Target Rifle, built on a Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle receiver, in excellent condition with 95% finish. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Bolt matching serial number. Hammerli walnut thumbhole stock is not serialized. No magazine; single shot only.
One piece target stock has limited handling wear. On the left side of the stock, there is a pressure mark above and to the left of the thumbhole. There are several small marks found below the rear diopter sight mount. Checkering on the forearm is clean. Checkering on the grip is clean.
Receiver finish is dark and glossy. There is a small area of finish wear below the serial number, and another small area of finish wear on the opposite side. In addition to the standard military proofs found on Swiss military rifles, the receiver is also stamped with "35" and the name of the armorer "J. HAAG" over "NEUHAUSEN". The Hammerli-manufactured barrel is stamped with a circled number 11 and the Hammerli cartouche. The barrel has also been machined for mounting an optic; machined area is stamped with "SPECIAL RIFLE STEEL".
Some of the black paint on the shoulder hook has worn off.
Precision diopter adjustable rear sight, tunnel and ring front sight. Includes removable adjustable forward stabilizing grip attached to the UIT rail.
Receiver is P stamped.
