Original Luger drum Type 1 / snail / trommel magazine, manufactured by Bing Brothers in Nurnberg (Nuremberg), typically in use with artillery Lugers. Not a reproduction. 32 round capacity.
Bluing overall is lightly worn and has scattered light pitting. Areas of heavier finish wear on the magazine insert from friction, and edge wear on the high areas.
Drum is stamped with B over N for Bing Nurnberg. Serial number 38144 stamped on the front and back of the drum.
Magazine spring is heavy with good tension.
