Antique Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1898, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Long wood grain pattern on the left side of the stock.
On the right side of the stock, there are light scratches to the left of the finger groove and light gouges between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are light pressure marks throughout the butt. Light pressure marks and light scratches below the receiver. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge by the magazine catch and a heavy pressure mark in front of the magazine plate. Dark coloration around the grip at the receiver tang. Handguard has light gouges in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light surface marks and light scratches at the rear of the receiver. Light edge wear around the loading slot. Both barrel bands have light finish wear. Light edge wear and light finish wear on the trigger guard. Light scratches around the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
Both bolt knobs are cracked. Bottom bolt knob is also chipped.
Includes muzzle cover.
