Custom Target Rifle, built from a Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, in excellent condition with 95% bluing. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Bolt matching serial number. Hammerli walnut thumbhole stock is not serialized. No magazine; single shot only. Receiver finish is dark with few marks. Stock has very few handling marks. Precision diopter adjustable rear sight, tunnel and ring front sight. Includes removable adjustable forward stabilizing grip. Some of the black paint on the shoulder hook has worn off. Receiver is P stamped. Modern production; not C&R eligible.
In addition to the standard military proofs found on Swiss military rifles, the receiver is also stamped with "35" and the name of the armorer "J. HAAG" over "NEUHAUSEN". The Hammerli-manufactured barrel is stamped with a circled number 11 and the Hammerli cartouche. The barrel has also been machined for mounting an optic; machined area is stamped with "SPECIAL RIFLE STEEL".
Includes one sealed 480 rds case of GP11 7.5x55mm Swiss ammunition.
